Spring Snow 2008

In the past couple of weeks Spring has sprung in Skaneateles, NY. I’ve seen the migrating birds returning to our area - Geese, Robin’s, Red-winged Blackbird. I just noticedyesterday a clump of snowdrop flowers were beginning to poke their heads out of the frozen earth. We have had rain coming down sporadically for about a week and it was washing away some of the leftover Winter dirt.

Now this morning we are back to checking on school cancellations (Marcellus was delayed but not us - wimps :) and shovelling. The temps aren’t bad so I don’t suspect our recent overnight snow dump will last, but none the less it is here.
