I am Italian, and thus half my family are Italian, and if you know Italians you will probably know that it is not our nature to be beacons of positivity 24-7. Not that I don’t try to keep a positive outlook on life — I do. But the pattern of my genetic code is constantly poking the cynic within me in the side, saying “you just gonna let that go.. and not say something?” “Just keep your cool,” I retort, almost saddened, as if I’m betraying my heritage. “Being negative never produces a good result :)” Right? Right.
One individual that I’ve encountered that seems just the opposite in his inclination is Dr. Robert Kiltz, a resident of Skaneateles. Dr. K is one of those rare individuals that seems to always exude positivity and good will, and this is definitely to his credit.
It’s not just me that notices. One has only to encounter or work with one of his employees from any of his several businesses and it becomes clear that they feel the same. You don’t even need to ask, they will tell you, and you will see it in their faces. I’ve always felt that you can tell everything that you need to know about a business by having a short conversation with any employee. Their eyes will tell you the truth. No directed questions needed. The eyes of Dr. Kiltz’s employees betray their admiration and affection for their boss.
Dr. Kiltz is both scientist and artist. His science is fertility science, helping families who have often lost hope of having a child ultimately realize that miracle, oftentimes against the odds. He operates CNY Fertility Center at 195 Intrepid Lane in Syracuse. The artist comes out in his ceramic art, which you will soon be able to view at RobertKiltz.com if you haven’t already viewed an exhibition of his work in person, and it comes out in other artistic expressions, such as his healing arts center and spa, CNY Healing Arts Wellness Center and Spa at 191 Intrepid Lane in Syracuse.
Most recently, Dr. K’s artistic expression can be witnessed daily in his inspirational and usually poetic Dr. Rob’s Intention of the Day mailing list (email list). You can find an example of his excellent work and sign up for the daily mailing here.
Dr. K is also soon launching his personal blog at his CNY Fertility Center website, so keep checking the website for the latest updates.
In a world that often seems to thrive on problems and negativity, Dr. K is a welcome change!
