Members of Skaneateles\’ Cub Scout Pack 161 will be cleaning up Austin Park Saturday, April 19 as part of Boy Scouts of America\’s Good Turn for America.
Good Turn for America is a national call to service by the Boy Scouts of America to specifically address the issues of hunger, homelessness, and poor health in our nation - but also applies to service to the community in general.
Each year in the Spring, members of Cub Scout Pack 161 bring garbage bags and lawn tools and march through Austin Park from corner to corner in an effort to spruce it up for Spring. The public is welcome to help out and all are invited. Bring boots or other appropriate footwear, a garbage bag and a willingness to help make the park a better place!
