The spil way at the Lakeside Paper Mill. The head race is on left side of photo but can not be seen. This land was donated to town by Jack and Irene Bryant who were both murdered whil hiking in North Carolina. Jack was our town attorney for26 years.
The Skaneateles Historical Society occasionally sponsors Trail Walks with the “Real” Charlie Major himself narrating. Don’t miss it if you get a chance.
The Charlie Major Nature Trail is also on the Secret Places Program at http://www.skaneatelessuites.com

Great pic. Sunrise Rotary Club clears brush there at least once a year and is working on trail upgrades. Suggestions and assistance is always welcome!

Have you been on the trail? I love it, it’s so peaceful. It’s even good for biking.
