I got my days mixed up this weekend and forgot that the Skinnyman was Saturday morning (thought it took place on Labor Day 
By the time I arrived along the lake this morning it was well under way and in fact a lot of the racers had already crossed the finish line. The excitement and energy surrounding the event was infectious and the guy announcing the racers as they crossed the finish line was hilarious. Every time I heard “come on white shirt guy … you can do it” or “keep it up pink shirt lady, you’re almost there” I chuckled. I never did find out who won the Skinnyman …
Below is a short movie I made (be gentle with your critique’s, I’m still learning how to use the camera). I captured some of the great racers as they crossed the finish line, the encouragement of the announcer, the CNY Healing Arts staff members giving out free orthopedic massages to the racers and an interview with our very own Candy Searing. Thanks so much for agreeing to talk on camera Candy, it makes the movie!!

I missed the race, so I was so excited to see some footage of the race, like you Chris I thought it was on Labor day…BUT very quickly realized how wrong I was when I stepped onto Genessee street:)
