Creekside Books & Coffee, an independent bookstore and coffeehouse in Skaneateles, is thrilled to host Laura Numeroff’s visit to Syracuse’s John H. Mulroy Civic Center, Carrier Theater on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 3:00 pm.

“I am thrilled to be bringing award winning author, Laura Numeroff to Central New York,” says Erika Davis, owner of Creekside Books and Coffee. “Her books have captured the hearts of not only children for so many years, but their parents and teachers as well.”

ABOUT Laura Numeroff
Laura Numeroff is the best-selling author of a number of books for children, including If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, If You Give a Moose a Muffin, If You Give a Pig a Pancake, If You Take a Mouse to the Movies, If You Take a Mouse to School and If You Give a Pig a Party, illustrated by Felicia Bond; The Chicken Sisters, illustrated by Sharleen Collicott and Laura Numeroff’s 10-Step Guide to Living with Your Monster illustrated by Nate Evans. “Design Your Own Cupcake”
Creekside Books & Coffee will be sponsoring a “Design Your Own Cupcake” promotion for children using a paper template (available online or can be picked up at the bookstore). Any medium can be used to decorate; crayons, paint, paper, fabric, etc.
Submit creations to Creekside Books & Coffee: 35 Fennell St – Skaneateles, NY 13152.
Cupcakes will be the property of Creekside and will be displayed at the Civic Center on the day of the event.

Transportation:
To save on fuel Creekside is sponsoring a bus ride to the event on the Cupcake Cruiser. Mouse, from If You Give A Mouse a Cookie and Pig, from If you Give a Pig A Party will greet us when we arrive. Leaving Creekside Books & Coffee promptly at 2:00. $15.00 per person, round trip. Tickets for the Cupcake Cruiser are available at Creekside Books & Coffee.
