The Sherwood Inn of Skaneateles, NY, will host Oktoberfest featuring Klaus Raith and the Enzain Bavarian Band and Folk Dancers. Brugemeiser Raith also headlines the Syracuse “Oktoberfest”. His fun-loving German music and authentic folk dancers offer wonderful entertainment from 1:00-6:00 PM at the Sherwood Inn. Also, back by popular demand, is Beak and Skiff with their delicious apple wine tasting featuring Cortland, Gala & Northern Spy Wines. New this year, is a Chariots of Downtown, an authentic Wine Ice Cream Tasting by Mercer’s Farm featuring Peach White Zinfanel and Royal White Reisling. Come taste the flavors of the season!

Hearty German fare, farm-fresh harvest entrees, Bavarian Apple Tarts, Linzer Torts and Saranac Oktoberfest beer will be available under the big tent on the West Lawn. Be sure to sign up for door prize giveaways from the Patisserie Bakery, the Village Bottle Shop, Riddlers’ Cigar Shop and the Sherwood Inn properties. Help us support the Milfoil Project with $10 T-Shirt sales. All this and no cover charge! Tables and chairs will be available in the tent but you may want to bring your own and relax by the lake while enjoying some great local fare and entertainment.
