Wednesday, March 4th

Special Storytime at Creekside!
Pirate Party and Book Signing with Children’s Book Author.
Children’s Pirate Book author Donna Bennett will be at Creekside Books in Skaneateles for a pirate princess party.  The “Petey and the Mean Pirates”
storytime, party, and book signing will be on March 4th from 10:30a-12p.
Petey and the Mean Pirates sends a heart warming message of peace.  The book is a delightful children’s story that appeals to both kids and parents, alike. This event is free to the public.  No registration necessary.
Children can come dressed in their favorite pirate or princess costume but, not required


Thursday, March 5th
7:00 PM
Author or Stump City, Mike Quigley return to Creekside to introduce his newest in the Stump City series, “Childhood without a Helmut”.  Set again in that predominantly Irish-American section of Skaneateles Falls, New York, the story roughly parallels the time period of Stump City but focuses on Michael’s interactions with his friends and neighbors.  This event is free to the public.  No registration required.

Meet Dennis Connors, author of “Historic Photos of Syracuse”
Dennis J. Connors is Curator of History at the Onondaga Historical Association Museum & Research Center. He regularly lectures and offers walking tours about Syracuse area history, and serves as chief curator for several of the museum’s exhibitions.  This event is free to the public.  No registration required.

AAUW celebrates “International Women’s Day” at Creekside Guest author, Marian Gedow will present “50 Family Farms”


Saturday, March 14th
Local community member and author, Elisabeth Hurley, presents her new children’s book, “Digging Spring”.  The illustrator of this adorable new children’s book, Erin Sherman, will be joining Ms. Hurley at Creekside.  Ms.
Hurley will be reading from “Digging Spring” and both will be available to sign books and answer questions from the audience.  This event is free to the public.  No registration required.

his latest Children’s book, “Baseball Great”, in March Watch for details about our March 28th author event with Tim Green to celebrate the release of “Baseball Great”.
