Lockwood Farm would like to extend our appreciation to all who joined us for the 3rd annual Finger Lakes Lavender Festival. We welcomed over 1000 visitors the second weekend of July to celebrate the love of lavender. Sharing the love we have for the farm and our lavender with so many people has been a dream for us. Seeing the enjoyment and the smiles of our guests has given us the desire to continue to grow.

We especially want to thank all of our volunteers and artists. We certainly couldn’t have done it without them. We look forward to the next step in improving this event with their ideas and encouragement.

Thanks to the many lavender lovers who purchased Royal Velvet lavender plants a check for $1000 was presented to Joan Thompsen, during the festival for the Skaneateles Historical Society expansion project.

Once again, thank you for supporting a family farm. We look forward to seeing you next year on July 9th & 10th 2011.
