There’s new gallery in town! Opening soon at 37 Fennell Street next to Creekside Books & Coffee. The Grand Opening will be the First Friday of September, the 7th.
Unite Two Design (UTD) formed by Keith Traub and Theresa Daddona-Traub in 2010 creates innovative designs in furniture and jewelry from reclaimed materials, found objects and vintage finds. Their website can be found at www.UniteTwoDesign.com. There you will find an array of furniture built from defunct barns and construction sites, called “Farmpunk”.
Unite Two Design has been highlighted in Mountain Living Magazine and featured on the DIY Network. Core 77′s blog headline read “Victorian England has Steampunk, American Heartland has Farmpunk.”
Working out of their studio in Hartlot (Skaneateles Junction) 5 miles north of the Village of Skaneateles, they will continue to build furniture, store materials, and meet with customers about future designs. The gallery will be open on Fennell Street to expand on UTD’s local market.
Proud to be opening a gallery in Skaneateles. Keith and Theresa are hoping to bring the ethos of reclaiming and reusing what is essentially America’s history into more peoples homes. Custom pieces can be built to fit any space using our materials or yours. They like to think they can turn your grandparents’ old barn or tractor into a beautiful piece of furniture you’d love to live with, and have in your home for generations!
