Lucky Dogs Canine Services, a Skaneateles-based pet care services company, is pleased to announce that they have purchased the mobile pet grooming van formerly known as Bailey’s Bubble Bus. Lucky Dogs Canine Services currently offers in-home pet sitting at their client’s houses, daily dog walking, and pet taxi for pets to their vet appointments.
Bailey’s Bubble Bus began mobile pet grooming services in the Auburn & Skaneateles area during the Fall of 2011. When the opportunity arose to purchase the grooming van from the owner, Brendan Grillo, it was a logical next step for the pet care company. “Since we specialize in high quality pet care at our clients’ homes, I am excited to now also bring pet grooming to our clients’ homes,” said Amy Schiek, owner of Lucky Dogs Canine Services. “In-home pet sitting and mobile pet grooming are both less stressful for the pets and more convenient for their people than similar services provided away from home.” The grooming van carries it’s own power supply and water supply, so the groomer is able to provide all of the services of a traditional groomer right in the driveway of the client’s home. During a mobile grooming appointment, only one pet at a time is in the van so pets aren’t waiting in crates for their appointments. Cage dryers are not used – each pet is towel dried! , then blown dry.
