July 6 Art Reception for “Three Sisters of Summer”, 6-8pm
The Baltimore Woods Art Gallery will host a reception for the newest exhibit, entitled, “Three Sisters of Summer” featuring paintings, ceramics and photographs by three sisters: Thérèse Verley Strodel, Daphné Verley and M Bénédicte Verley. The exhibit runs from July 6th through August 23rd. Parking and admission are free.

July 8 – August 30 Summer Nature Day Camp, weekly programs
Baltimore Woods is offering summer day camp programs for children ranging in age from pre-K to 11th grade. These are week-long day camp adventures that promote discovery, physical fitness, problem solving skills, social interaction, and awareness through direct contact with the natural world. July 12 Star Party: Summer Milky Way, 9-11pm
The summer milky way at its finest! During the summer, we look directly into the core of our own milky way galaxy, giving great views of many beautiful star clusters and nebulae. The planet Saturn will be visible as well. Back-up date June 15. $5 for members, $15/family; $8 for nonmembers, $25/family.

July 24 Night Buggin’!, 8:30-10pm
Ever wonder what’s lurking out there once the sun goes down? Ever wonder what you could do with a black light and a white bed sheet in the woods? Attract nocturnal insects, of course! Join Dr. Agnello (entomologist from Cornell University) to discover a surprising variety of nighttime creatures. Be sure to bring a flashlight and your sense of wonder! $5 for members; $15/family; $8 for nonmembers, $25/family.
