I came across this spectacular image of Skaneateles recently. At first, I thought I was looking at a quaint, far-away European village, one of those destinations you add to your list of must-visit-someday places. When I realized that I was looking at Skaneateles, just that the perspective was different from what I am used to seeing, I was once again reminded of how this village is truly the Jewel of the Finger Lakes.
