Description:

Rosalie’s is an owner operated Italian Cucina and wine cellar built by Philip Romano for his sister Rosalie. They also have a bakery in the back of the building where they sell fresh baked bread, pastries, handmade pasta and Starbucks coffee drinks.

Rosalie’s Cucina was established in 1995. The namesake (Rosalie) passed away only 1 year after welcoming guests to her Cucina. Rosalie’s was built in authentic Tuscan style, designed by Philip Romano and Skaneateles architect Andrew Ramsgard. Philip and his family visit Rosalie’s every day during the summer when they vacation on Skaneateles Lake.

The steel structure behind the vineyard was part of an interchange between the Erie Canal and the Albany Central Railroad. It now adorns the herbs that are used by Rosalie’s chefs.

Gary Robinson, who was the original general manager, now owns and operates Rosalie’s Cucina.
