Cary Briel and Curtis Feldmann have been working closely together over the past few months on everything from photos, to property management concepts, to Google maps and now Skaneateles Suites has launched a brand new “LOOK” for their website. Take a look at their new website by either clicking on the picture above or clicking on this link. Now you can get a very cohesive feel for their “Collection of places to stay in Skaneateles” right on the home page. Also, not to be missed is the Skaneateles Suites blog which is a champion among blogs for the local FingerLakes region. They work hard to get just about any and every local event added to their blog. A very useful tool for visitors coming to the area as well as locals looking for something to do on the weekend.
Great job Curt and Cary!

A couple who were expecting their first child booked a getaway to Skaneateles a couple of months before their due date. They visited us in May of 2006 and judging from Kristi Gaylord’s blog titled Interrupted Wanderlust (she’s the new mom) they had a nice relaxing time. There are some great pics on her blog, but the one that really peaked my interest is the creamsicle cheesecake. Who in Skaneateles makes a creamsicle cheesecake … and when can I get one?

It seems that the blogging bug is really catching in Skaneateles, NY - GREAT! There is a new fashion blog on the block being written by Bella Blue, many new blogs on our own SkanTalk User Blogs section, and also another local farmer blogging about their farm and market that operates from a historical building in Borodino (more on this little treasure later
This past week-end Sean Kirst wrote an article on Syracuse.com about the subset of local people/businesses that have embraced blogging. He mentioned Meg Brooks blog and also our very own SkanTalk blog. Apparently a few years back there was a gathering of local bloggers at the State Fair. Sean and a few others are trying to organize another bloggers get together and they want you to let them know what you think. You can check out the article HERE and if you are interested in getting together with other local bloggers e-mail Sean Kirst.
