On building a performing arts center…

I recently asked the question, would Skaneateles benefit from a world class performing arts center? I now ask, would there be any interest in forming a interest committee in order to explore the business and financial side of such an undertaking? The vision is to form citizens in support of a Skaneateles Performing Arts Center. Such an undertaking could reduce some of the tax burden and increase revenue of local business.
Give vision to our community,  by making a place that is already wonderful even better. If you have interest please provide your name and contact number for further discussion. Thank you for your support. Richard Charles for Citizens for a Skaneateles Performing Arts Center.

The Empire State Society of Association Executives (ESSAE) has recognized “Another Pro/Do Your HOME Work”— a branding campaign created by The ADworks of Skaneateles—with its Association Excellence Award for Branding/Marketing Campaign. The campaign, which includes print, billboard and radio components, was created for the Home Builders & Remodelers of Central New York (HBRCNY).

“We are working hard to get the message out to consumers that given the value and importance of one’s home, all homeowners should ‘do their HOME work’ before starting any home improvement or repair project,” says HBRCNY executive officer Mary M. Thompson. “We are very proud of the ‘Another Pro’ campaign and honored by this award from our peers.”
