Creekside hosts Laura Numeroff at Syracuse Civic Center

Creekside Books & Coffee, an independent bookstore and coffeehouse in Skaneateles, is thrilled to host Laura Numeroff’s visit to Syracuse’s John H. Mulroy Civic Center, Carrier Theater on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 3:00 pm.

“I am thrilled to be bringing award winning author, Laura Numeroff to Central New York,” says Erika Davis, owner of Creekside Books and Coffee. “Her books have captured the hearts of not only children for so many years, but their parents and teachers as well.”

Laura Numeroff is the best-selling author of a number of books for children, including If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, If You Give a Moose a Muffin, If You Give a Pig a Pancake, If You Take a Mouse to the Movies, If You Take a Mouse to School and If You Give a Pig a Party, illustrated by Felicia Bond; The Chicken Sisters, illustrated by Sharleen Collicott and Laura Numeroff’s 10-Step Guide to Living with Your Monster illustrated by Nate Evans. She lives in Los Angeles, California, but still loves to travel back to New York.

Her visit includes a reading of the book, question & answers, and plenty of time to personally sign copies of the book.
