Now, who is crazy enough to plunge into Skaneateles lake in January but people that are creative and living life to the fullest. Yes, my crazy, outrageous, and spectacular friends, and to name only a few included Vitaly, Andy, Todd, and Edelika. I was invited to take a plunge into the Skaneateles waters this weekend, and share in the first annual Skaneateles polar bear plunge. Yet I was unable to make the frigid event since I was playing in NYC, not quite as cold nor white with snow. The five degree Fahrenheit air temp with the sun shining, ice chipped and an opening made for the 18 participants to enter the cool, crisp, yes frigid water. This was a creative moment to share in the joy of life and to collect some donations to assist the Skaneateles Fire Department, Skaneateles Ambulance Volunteer Emergency Services and the Skaneateles Education Fund. The first two on hand to assist medical needs and the second contributing to our smarts. This is helping us understand why we take such a plunge in the first place: to recognize that we can do anything, if we simply set our sights on it. Yes the event was a success, because some amazing people had an idea, and brought it to reality. And with that they also brought in some cash, $2200. Check out www.skanpolarbear.com for some great pics by Pete Davis, Sherie Ramsgard and Janie Darovskikh!
The ability to step into the frigid waters is an example of mind over matter, which is simply placing the sight of our desires into thy hard drive. Once there, we are able to create that which we think. Practice this each day with the thoughts of what you want and not of what you do not want. Worry and thinking of the what ifs is the first step to the creation of that you do not desire. A simple practice is the key that we bring to the Universe, and showing love and kindness to all is the opening up to all possibilities.

Love and Blessings to all,
Dr. Rob

Skaneateles High School students: Gaelyn Price, Dani Alderman, Ellie Krause, Jeff Higman and Joe Duggan are hosting a benefit dinner and silent auction at 4:00pm on Sunday, January 24th at the lakeside home of Dr. Robert Kiltz. They were so moved by the children they worked with in El Salvador last summer that they wanted to do more to help the people of this impoverished nation. They’re raising funds for a fully equipped Medical van that will be used by doctors to provide much needed medical and dental care to the outlying villages of El Salvador.
Tickets for the benefit dinner are $60 and can be purchased by calling Eileen Price at (315) 559-1529. The students will prepare a Salvadoran meal for up to 100 guests. They are also selling Calendars, Coffee, T-shirts and Sweatshirts (the kids are wearing the t-shirts and sweatshirts in the picture above).
Ellie Krause’s El Salvador Story:
Upon arriving in San Salvador our group got off the plane, packed our bags snugly into the back of a pick-up, and packed ourselves just as snugly into a big blue van (our transportation for the trip). As we drove along the highway I began to marvel at the spectacular landscape: dramatic mountains blanketed in lush green forests forming rigid and unpredictable shapes. But as I looked through the gaps in foliage along the road I soon became aware of the reality of the situation.
This past Saturday, December 19th, 2009, about 50 women and men spent the day with Dr. Rob and Bonita at the lovely Stella Maris Retreat Center. It was a Winter Solstice Day Retreat and such a lovely relaxing time was had by all. We spent time connecting with one another, sharing positive words and thoughts, meditating, stretching and sharing very useful tools on how to live your Best Life. Dr. Rob has been sharing his positive thinking ideas and words around the CNY area for almost 2 years now. Bonita is a Kundalini Yoga Teacher who holds classes at Stella Maris Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.

3. Core Participation: Once you have reconnected to your source,
