Bijou Salon, Skaneateles, NY
It’s that time of the month, everything in Bijou has (or will be soon) turned pink! Last year at this time, we raised over $1000 for the national breast cancer foundation.  Bijou made the commitment to donate 10% of our service sales to help find a cure for breast cancer.  I believe every little bit helps! So keep in mind, every dollar you spend at Bijou for the month of October, 10% will go to finding a cure! Thanks, once again for participating!  I would really love any suggestions for where is the best place to send it, last year I just did the national breast cancer foundation, but am open to any great suggestions!

Be sure to keep up on our blog, we keep adding exciting news and coverage for the Pink cow bingo, any questions…just ask us, we’ll find the answers for you!  PLUS we have tickets, stop in and buy one or two or five! And if you really enjoy reading the blog, subscribe to it, then it will just magically appear in your email inbox, ready for you to read…although the music is missing when you do it that way :)   Thank you so much for always helping with any request we have.  Everyone has always been so supportive and it is my great honor to use Bijou as a “vehicle” to raise money for very special causes!  Remember it is not how much you give, because trust me, every little tiny bit helps and believe me when I say, when you give..it comes back ten-fold!
Yours truly,

Kim Baker

“Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead, Anthropologist.

Together, we raised $1,321 for local breast cancer organization, Positively Pink Packages, as a result of the flip flop project. Members of our community, united to increase awareness by purchase of the stylish flip flops and sporting them around town.
